We would like to invite you to attend Welsh Potato Day which will take place on Thursday 14th January.  This technical-focused event will include expert talks and practical workshop sessions.

The morning kicks off with Rebecca Hughes, from the AHDB Market Intelligence team who will report on current consumer trends and Kate Cox from our marketing team who will update on how our ‘more than a bit on the side’ consumer campaign aims to influence this.

Responding to a request from local levy-payers AHDB’s Dr Bill Parker will discuss the biology and practical management of Wireworm in a potato rotation.

Following on Ged Davies of Natural Resources Wales will be updating delegates on work reviewing the nutrient status of waterbodies in Wales.

Phil Bradshaw will provide the latest figures on cost of production and will highlight the latest tools available for you and your staff.

Alice Sin will be showcasing the work of AHDB-funded PhD students who are exploring topics including PCN and blight as well as GI and biofortification.
