All marketing activities need industry support to maximise their impact. A strong message needs to be promoted by the whole industry. Getting involved in campaigns and projects will bring rewards; both at a business and industry-wide level.
Hire our promotional vehicle
AHDB Potatoes has a promotion vehicle (see above) which is available at cost for industry to use. It comes with a functioning kitchen/cook if you want to sample potatoes and when delivered it will be set up for you to use. It is an ideal vehicle to promote potatoes at a show, outside a retail store or at an on farm event.

Distribute potato recipe leaflets
AHDB Potatoes produces recipe leaflets with quick, tasty and healthy recipes to encourage younger consumers to eat more meals with potatoes. We need your help to distribute these as widely as possible to this audience.

Grow Your Own Potatoes schools project
Schools can now register for the 2015 project here. You too can help with this hands-on learning experience, encouraging schools to sign up, assisting with planting and harvesting events or being a 'school buddy' to offer advice, classroom talks about growing potatoes and farm visits. Local MPs and MSPs may also be interested in seeing the project in action, could you invite your local MP or MSP to an event at your farm or a local school? AHDB Potatoes launched a co-EU funded campaign to promote fresh potatoes to young consumers on Thursday 14th October 2010, marking National Potato Day and the start of a competition to find Britain's Master Spud. The campaign combined PR to highlight the versatility of potatoes, consumer activity - including road shows offering sampling and recipe inspiration - together with an online presence featuring competitions, recipes and potato facts and TV advertising.
