Agrochemical efficacy & residue trials

SBCSR is also an Officially Recognised Efficacy Testing Organisation (ORETO certificate no. 227) registered with the UK Chemicals Regulation Directorate (CRD) for the provision of data. We can also conduct trials to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) requirements in conjunction with appropriately accredited third party monitoring and auditing bodies.

We have established procedures, based on the European and Mediterranean
Plant Protection Organisation’s
(EPPO) guidelines, for undertaking efficacy trials on storage. SBCSR personnel have the expertise for chemical application using the latest equipment, ranging from hot fogging and granule applicators to hydraulic sprayers and cold misting technology.

We have good collaborative links to other centres with expertise in application and residue measurement too.
