Supporting British businesses on the international stage

17 January 2019

Once more the AHDB Exports team will gather British exporters together at two major international tradeshows in 2019.

The first of the year - Fruit Logistica - takes place in Berlin from 6-8 February. Over the course of the event British horticulture and potato companies will seek to build new relationships and explore potential business opportunities with the numerous international visitors who visit the stand year on year.

This year, Angus Soft Fruits, Bedfordshire Growers, AC Goatham & Son, James Hutton Ltd, Green Team UK, Martin Lishman Ltd, English Apples & Pears and Ferry Fast Produce will join AHDB’s stand as co-exhibitors, alongside the Fresh Produce Journal, our media partner.

Most of the companies have previously exhibited with AHDB, and their return is a testament to the event’s success, with over 2,500 exhibitors and 65,000 trade visitors from over 150 countries.

Potato Europe, held this year in Belgium on 4 and 5 September, is a smaller event, dedicated as it is just to potatoes, however it’s also incredibly popular with over 9,500 visitors from over 50 countries.

The AHDB stand offers international seed buyers and importers the chance to connect with experienced exporters of quality British seed, which is always highly sought after thanks to its strong health credentials and high quality.
