First Estimate of Potato Plantings 2010

The AHDB Potatoes first estimate of plantings for 2010 is 126,600 ha, down 2.8% on 2009's final planting figure of 130,200 ha. This is based on a sample of 54% of planting returns received prior to 24 June from 1515 growers.
