Potato Weekly - 10 May 2019

Publication Date:
10 May 2019

Planting was wrapping up for most, with showers welcomed by those with crop in the ground. Lifting continued, though demand remained limited. With irrigation restrictions looking more likely for growers in the East, water availability is something to keep an eye on moving forward.

  • Export demand from the continent remained strong.
  • Domestic movement was muted for most. Prices for top quality were generally firm, with good quality and size becoming harder to find.
