Rot identification & control - Storage Forum 2016 - Glyn Harper, Alison Blackwell & Tom Neat

29 March 2016

A day of globally-recognised expertise on storage and crop quality, AHDB’s Storage Forum 2016, hosted by Sutton Bridge Crop Storage Research (SBCSR), offered tools and tips to control disease and ensure your store is efficient, cost-effective and delivers on quality.

The over-subscribed forum created real impact with over 63% of polled delegates claiming they would change their working practices as a result of attending the event.

Missed out? You can still access the expertise with our catch-up videos:

Potato Storage Rots - Workshop 1: Dr Glyn Harper presents the problem, leading to novel options for biological and physical control. Dr Alison Blackwell (APS Biocontrol Ltd) covers the potential for Bacteriophage to control soft rot development, and Tom Neat of Techneat Engineering/Apollo UV Ltd introduces pulsed UV as a physical surface disinfection system.
