Brassicas: Research and development scoping study II

Summary

The Problem:

The Brassica Growers Association (BGA), in collaboration with HDC, has developed a Research and Development strategy, which highlights the industry’s priority objectives for the next 5 years.

Work was done under project FV 404 to explore and commission both research and knowledge transfer to underpin these priority topics. This involved investigating research collaborative opportunities and research capabilities in the UK.

The success of the last project has led to an extension of the work under this new contract.

About this project

Aims and objectives:

Another series of ‘science scoping’ meetings will be held between members of BGA, scientists and HDC and agreed work will be procured and commissioned through the BGA Technical Committee and HDC Field Vegetable Panel. This Contract provides support to BGA for its input to the scoping exercise.
