Measuring and improving the performance of overhead irrigation for container-grown crops

This factsheet describes how water application rates and uniformity can be measured and improved for overhead irrigation systems for container-grown hardy nursery stock. It should be used in conjunction with the AHDB Irrigation Calculator tool. Examples of common distribution patterns achieved for overhead systems are provided together with recommendations on how these can be improved.
